Frequently Asked Questions

This area is designed to answer some common questions that relate to wedding photography and that are frequently asked when I meet with Brides and Grooms to be. Think of this page as a "virtual interview". If you have a question that isn't covered below call or e-mail us.


Q: Which style of wedding photography do you offer?

A: Our images are captured, in a style of photography known as "photojournalistic". We will document the unfolding story of your day unobtrusively, following the flow and the style of your day. Our mission is not only to capture great photographs but to also allow all the wedding party to have a great time.

Q: Do we get to keep the proofs?

A: Yes, Digital proofs on DVD, Printed proofs are available as an option.

Q. What about the digital files do you sell them?

A: Yes, You will only receive all your digital files on DVD with our value package.

Q. What kind of cameras do you use?

A: We use Canon professional high-resolution digital cameras with a compliment of the best Canon lenses for creating our images.

Q: Do you use digital photography?

A: Yes, Because we capture all images digitally, every image you choose is perfected in Photoshop. We can create a timeless black and white or sepia toned image, or use tinting and other artistic touches to create something truly unique and beautiful.

Q. I heard digital is not as good as film?

A. We have used both digital and film, and we prefer digital. Our technical background in graphic design, so we are able to take advantage of digital to its fullest extent with Photoshop. Since we use a high resolution camera, the digital images can be enlarged to at least a 16" x 20" print and have no blurriness.

Q: How many photographs do you take?

A: Since we do not use film, there is no limit on the number of images we take.

Q: Should I let you know what groups I want to have photographed?

A: We do encourage our couples to inform us of specific requests. Also, you should have a family member act as coordinator for these group pictures.

Q: Do you take any traditional photographs of the families and bridal party?

A: Yes, If that is what you desire. We understand that many brides still want some individual photos with bridesmaids or family and some formal group photographs either before or after the ceremony.

Q. What if our church doesn't allow you to take flash photos of the ceremony?

A. There is enough lighting in most churches to photograph without the use of a flash.

Q: Do you only photograph weddings in New Jersey?

A: No, We are available to photograph weddings anywhere in the NJ, NY, PA area.

Q: What is your pricing for weddings?

A: Each and every wedding is unique, as is each and every bride and groom. Our pricing is based both on the amount of detail we spend on your wedding as well as the particular products. We have wedding coverage that starts at $895.00, for a seven hours, which includes online hosting, digital files on DVD and more.

Q: How much control do I have over album design?

A: The album will be designed with the images you choose! A designer will sit with you, and together we will discuss any changes that may be necessary. After you have approved your design, it will take 4 to 6 weeks after we placed your order for you to receive your final album.

Q: How far in advance do you book?

A: Dates are typically reserved anywhere from 1 month to 18 months in advance. Please go to the contact page to inquire about your date availability.

Q: How do we reserve your services?

A: Since we only take one wedding assignment per day, we do require a signed contract and a booking fee in the amount of one third of the total amount. We will not and do not reserve dates without a booking fee and a signed contract.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Check, Cash and PayPal as method of payment.
